Captured flocks, around 728 BC, Nimrud Central Palace
A mixed flock of horny goats and curly-horned sheep, captured in a campaign against the Arabs, are driven back to the Assyrian camp. This scene, from the palace of Tiglath-pileser III, is continued in the next scene of the camels.
